WHAT HBO THERAPY IS ALL ABOUT

Oxygen is a basic nutrient needed for life & healing. Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBO or HBOT) is the administration of oxygen under pressure in hard shell chambers. The pressure allows oxygen to be dissolved in the plasma or liquid potion of the blood, eliminating the necessity of cellular transport of oxygen by the red blood cell. Oxygen levels increase by 15 fold. There is stimulation of new capillary growth and tissue repair for wound healing. There

is enhanced antimicrobial action to fight infection. HBO reverses the low oxygen ischemic barrier to healing and mobilizes stem cells.

Inflammatory Bowel Disease Complications, Dental Implant Rejection/Complications. Decision to treat is based on examination, compassion and available medical literature.
